Gables Residential has unveiled the design for its already under-construction mixed-use Uptown Dallas development, for which Studio Outside was the landscape architect.

Studio Outside participated in the annual PARK(ing) Day Dallas.
PARK(ing) Day promotes social interaction, civic engagement, critical thinking, and creativity through individual generosity and play. On the third Friday of September each year, Dallas joins other cities around the world in temporarily transforming parking spaces into parks. Various city departments, individual residents, organizations and businesses form teams to transform spaces into areas for relaxing, networking and entertainment. The streets of downtown Dallas annually become a working urban laboratory, showcasing creative ideas from citizens and music from local entertainers.
Oakbrook Center enters its second phase of renovation; construction of this unique 70' diameter vortex-style water feature is well underway.
Studio Outside and Omniplan Architects crafted a fresh vision for the outdoor spaces including new enhanced hardscapes, lush landscaping, and highly detailed water features, making it one of General Growth Properties' signature projects.

Studio Outside staff designed and planted native landscape additions at the Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center in Cedar Hill, Texas, as a volunteer and fund-raising effort.
This project was led by Brian Halsell, dedicated master naturalist and supporter of this educational facility.
