Grand prairie city hall
grand prairie, Texas

The Grand Prairie City Hall is the first phase of this dynamic adopted master plan that re-imagines a disconnected four-square block government complex within the historic city center. Focusing on flexibility, prioritization of pedestrians and social space, circulation, and connections, the City Hall reconnects the campus to downtown. Building on previous investments and activation along the adjacent Main Street District, the plan restores the urban fabric and catalyzes continued investment.

Reconfiguring the site adds a variety of new features, gathering spaces, and maintains the ability to hold the annual Main Street Fest on the site attended by nearly 30,000 people. In addition, possible small lunch spots, recreational programming, an expanded farmers market, and event spaces are available throughout the area.
