Irving Veterans Memorial
Irving, Texas

Incorporating the design team’s vision to preserve the natural existing character of the site, visitors approach the park through a series of low stone rubble walls that pass through a 10’ high wall into the main plaza where five larger than life bronze veteran soldier statues are positioned among the many elements of the Park. Water features such as the Fountain of Hope, the River of Freedom along with the World Map of Confrontation and the Commemorative Wall of Reflection organize the plaza and direct visitors toward the commemorative walls that recognize those citizens who gave their lives during battle. Experience of Mike Fraze, Tary Arterburn, and Bill Millsap while at mesa.
